There is one bit part way through that I thought truly awesome and found myself reaching for the (sadly non-existent) rewind button. I will say no more but you will know it when it happens.

we will now go on monday night.

My family went without me Sunday night they loved it. I couldn't go didn't think my back would put up with 2 1/2 sitting down.

Not my favourite Bond movie, not even the best with Daniel Craig, but well worth seeing all the same.
Shame about Dame Judy , but she was looking a bit past her sell by date

Saw this last night, and loved it. I had enjoyed Casino Royale, thought QOS was dull, but this one is vintage Bond.

I appreciate the first of Craig's were a re-boot, and so were stand-alones, but I really enjoyed the references in Skyfall to the older Bond films.

:D but then again maybe Dame Judy may be in shower and resurface ...as did Bobby Ewing lol

A great Bond film, but a few niggles. Not to give anything away, in the opening sequence he is shot in the excavator and then off the train, but only one bullet hole scar! The baddy in the glass prison escapes (I realise how) but how were the guards killed?

That's a state secret and I'd have to kill you if I told you.

I'm pretty sure the door opened when the security system was shut down and he killed them and then he went down the same vent that Bond used.

I might be wrong but I doubt their would be a person sized vent in the bottom of cell like that.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Quite different to other Bond movies - fewer quips/jokes, less womanising, more serious tone. More Bourne Ultimatum in style, perhaps.

Thought the baddie (played by Javier Bardem) was superb and liked Q also (trivia: same actor as played Sidney in the 2004 film Layer Cake, who shot the main character played by.....Daniel Craig.). Not sure about Moneypenny though (acting skills iffy?).

I think you need to assume that he disarmed the guard and used his gun.
