I want to draw a concave molding like this using sketchup on all four edges of a table top. so how do I do it so I end up with mitred corners all with the concave all the way around?

Hi For once I think I can help, rather than ask for it.

Start by drawing the table top. The size being less the depth of the molding. Draw a vertical line down the edge. Next away from the top draw the profile of the molding. Select this and move onto the vertical line so it sticks out. Now select all the lines round the table top. Holding the Shift key down allows you to select more than one line. Now select the follow me tool and click on the profile. it should go round the table top. You should be able to delete the lines between the moulding and the one where the molding started.

Hope this makes sense.

As Paul points out, Follow Me would work if you don't need the molding to be separate components. If you want to make separate components though, the approach would be different.

Is the molding part of the table top or to be applied below?
