Hi guys
I've just been let down by my B&Q 1/4" router. The spindle lock sheared off. The router itself works fine but I can't change the bit anymore
It's 6months old and I didn't keep the receipt #-o
I figure it's about time I actually spent a bit more than £30 on a router as I seem to be using it more and more for hobby woodworkage.
I've seen this Sip 1/2" router on Toolstation. I've never used and of Sip's tools before - are they any good?
I'd say £63 is at the upper end of by budget - could stretch to £80ish for a good recommendation.
1/2" isn't vital, but I'd guess it'd give me more options with projects.
Many thanks!
