Hello folks,
Some simple trays made from Oak (not sure what type actually, so if you now can you identify it for me please? ), finished in Chestnut Hard Wax Oil. Not the best pictures, but was in a rush today. There are a few tiny gaps (2nd tray down in image 1), which I thought had closed up when gluing-up, but when I cleared up the squeeze out they were still there. Should have waited till had the workshop set-up properly. Woops.
The end trim is put on with mitre-kit adhesive (CA), and the side trim is applied with Titebond II. Subsequently is there a correct technical term for these 'trim' bits?
Cheers _Dan.
