Silicone colour for kitchen upstand?

When sealing the joint between kitchen upstand and the wall, which sealant colour tends to look better – is it wall coloured or upstand coloured?

(I have both a white and a Mapeli coloured silicone to hand)

Personally, I prefer to use the upstand coloured silicone so that it continues the colour of the upstand up to the wall. Why don't you mock up a small piece of upstand with something wall coloured and try both to see which you prefer?
