Has anyone tried putting Sikkens over osmo uv?

I have 2 external oak doors which were treated with Osmo uv when new 3 years ago. They now need redoing but looking at another post Sikkens looks longer lasting.

If it will work to what extent would I need to strip back the osmo?

Thanks

I'd send an email to Sikkens technical support group. They'll probably say something like "sand or scrape back to bare wood", but you never know, there may be some little twist here that could be critical.

Custards advice is sound. I'd be a little hesitant about putting any finish on top of oil. Helplines I've rang in the past have surprised me with their geekyness and helpfulness.

For anyone interested the advice was to get rid of all the oil first. This sounds much too much like hard work so will stick with the oil.

Thanks
