On Wago, Yes - look interesting. Given that swaged joints ("crimps") are both electrically and mechanically the best sort, they may have something.

I've had two switchplates fail recently when the female brass threads stripped whilst connecting them. Admittedly really cheap ones, but If these are a viable alternative, I'm in. I've long used Krone blocks, EDAC connectors, etc. and any number of specialist things of similar ilk, so that sort of technology doesn't hold any terrors!

As long as we never, ever, ever use wirenuts here!

Here is a picture of a mdf skirting I fitted a while ago, it's not to obtrusive and hid the pipes perfectly. I cut two strips of mdf 18mm mdf to 15mm wide, used mitre mate to glue them to skirting and very carefully screw and plugged it to wall a quick sand and a bit of caulk. job done
I'm sure doing the same with oak will look good,
