Just to give an idea of where I’m at, I’m currently renovating my brothers house and in my downtime I’ve lots of little projects/20 min stints: that range from Making handles for files to
Prepping timber lintels removed from the ceiling to use for newel posts on the new staircase im building.

I need as much criticism advice and insight as possible if you can

Thanks it’s all in the acclimatisation and damp coarse! I used danish oilx3 followed by clear diamond floor varnish x2. We’ve had cups of coffee and all sorts from the kids spilt but no stains have taken.
