Service my Festool TS55?

Hi

I need to service my TS55 and wondered where best to take it? I'd love to send it to Festool themselves......do they have a service department here in the UK?

I have a tool service place local but I prefer someone with a bit more knowledge as they didn't have a clue about a couple of simple parts that I needed (splinter guards) when I asked them for help.

Festool do have a UK service dept. Give them a call. If it's less than three years old, it won't cost you under the warranty.

Cheers, that's what I was hoping for.

It's over 3 years old though and could do with a good tune up and the sole/base plate replacing. I'll see what they say.

I've bought the newer version as a second machine and it runs like a dream compared to my older one. I'd like that back up to full working order.
