Have been cutting a 3d Harley plaque for a biker who helped me a week or so ago and as you can guess there is a lot of internal angled cuts

Well I finished a cut - withdrew ( as they say) and re- threaded but somehow turned the bottom blade holder round so the back of the blade was presented to the wood and of course nothing happened BUT I did not notice and rethreaded twice before my brain engaged

I was even cursing the blade as it was one of the few remaking FD blades I have left---- apologies to FD

What a fool!!!!

Can you get too old to scroll?

I can relate to that. Over the years I have done it many times and I put it down to my mind being else where other than on the job in hand. When it does happen I am sitting there wondering why the blade is not cutting as it should, and then the penny drops.
