Hello, I have recently purchased this planer for £120 at auction. It seems to run ok. The only issue I’ve noticed is the rollers chain seems to be rubbing on the belt pulley and has worn the chain. I’ve managed to push the rollers back so there’s clearance now. Is there something that’s tightens them in place? When I put wood through underneath they start moving back towards the belt pulley. Hope this makes sense. Thanks

Thanks for the reply and the link that’s helpful. So the grub screws are tight. It appears to be the the whole roller moving left and right including the square blocks that the rollers sit into. There are screws under the square blocks. One looks like it would lift the rollers up and the other one is a screw with the spring round it. Is the screw with the spring supposed to hold the blocks tight?
Thanks

Without seeing it in person, I think your issue is that the sprockets need the grub screw releasing, and with the infeed / outfeed rollers pushed up against the blocks, the sprockets pushing hard up against etc blocks and the grub screws tightened. The other end of the rollers just float in the other blocks.

so I’ve loosened the grub screw and pushed them back and tightened. There’s still play in the blocks the rollers sit into. I will attach a video.
