Looks like I’m first up…

Thank-you very much Secret Santa. A very useful and beautifully made marking gauge.

Absolutely blown away by the generosity of my Secret Santa. A goregeus box to keep my pencils in (how did you know I am sure your elves have been spying). A lovely marking gauage, workshop pencil and notebook. And on top of that a very thoughtfull turning blank for my wife (who also sends her thanks). I will also be trying the Goibada later when the family have gone.

Totally blown away by my gift - huge amount of work and lovely message as well following last year’s event. Thank you so very much. (Assuming the articulated hook at the top / rear is a nod to the Victorian grand tour cabinet for fruit for the birds?).

Simon.

Thank you secret Santa for my awesome screwdriver, card, and chocolates. The screwdriver is from Leadwood and has a lovely feel and weight in the hand. Mrs Fitzroy has eyes on it for our house screwdriver as it is infinitely prettier than the horrid plastic handled one, whilst I agree on the looks I disagree regards where it should reside. The Fitzroy boys snaffled a chocolate each before I could defend them, but I got the caramel so was happy. Merry Christmas to all and especially my UKW 2024 secret Santa.

Hello Forum Friends,

Here is a picture of my gift from Santa.

A substantial mortice chisel by W Marples & Sons, Sheffield, with a well honed blade. A handmade mallet and lovely jar of MEDUS Lithuanian forest honey. Yum Yum.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone and a special thanks to Stig for organising this fun and enjoyable annual event.

This is incredible

I do not know where to start... Santa brought me a wonderful and eclectic collection of gifts that will be forever treasured! He was so amazing this year!

The photographs below do not do justice to the incredible craftsmanship and artistry of the maker (sadly, unsigned!). It is difficult to capture in pictures the subtleties of the colors and the life-like quality of the carving... the fish literally appears to swim and the waves to move about. Also the superb execution of the construction cannot be overstated... the loving care and attention to detail... right down to the wrapping and careful packaging... the lovely card... thank you so much, Santa!

I will admit that, at my age, I no longer believed in you, but I was so wrong! I am now convinced that you are real! Who else would have known that I was down to my last pipe cleaner? :D

After being pretty vocal about how much I loved the one from the 2021 SS...I'm obviously super impressed with that.

really blown away with these cam clamps! the attention to detail and quality is outstanding, there are two sizes, made from scottish elm, mild steel, brass pins and green leather.

I was genuinely going to make some soon so that's a massive bonus, also included was a single malt whiskey, very generous.

I will definitely use the clamps for guitar making and other clamping duties, so very grateful and I just want to say happy christmas everyone and thankyou so much secret santa...
