Hi

I am looking for a small 4" disk sander, anyone had any experience with this type of combination sander?

Sealy SM750 and similar

There are many similar looking combinations with different brand names.

I was thinking of making my own but when I look at the cost of the motor and my time for circa £100.00 its more cost-effective to by a brand.

Proxxon are the usual go-to for miniature tools like that, but not cheap...

I was leaning towards Proxxon but the cost is a factor, I already have a powerful 10"SIPP disk and belt sander and this new acquisition is to do one specific job and will only get used about 3 or 4 hours a year. The SIPP is in a different location and I am lazy (;-)
