Afraid I don't think too much of their recommendations - especially their choice of that Dremel moto saw as best for beginners! IMHO anyone new to the hobby who bought one of these to start with would soon be put off the hobby for good whereas an efficient and easy to use machine would encourage them.
Also their choice of best value ought to be changed to Cheapest saw - there is a difference. As I have pontificated many times these cheaper machines (of which there are many clones) are fine for general woodworking especially instead of a small cheap bandsaw for doing smaller cutting but anyone doing more intricate work would soon realise the limitations and have to buy a better machine.
Had they bought a quality machine in the first place then decided the hobby was not for them they would most likely be able to sell it on for a fair sum whereas the cheap clone models are 'two a penny' so to speak.
