I'm looking for a ripping blade, bimetal 3-4tpi for my S45n for hardwood but can't seem to determine what length I need to order. Conflicting answers. Some say 144" (3657mm) but others say between 3690mm and 3742mm. Could someone please help me out on this so I can get one ordered. Thank you!

I might be tempted to drop Ian at Tuffsaws a line. I don't have address at hand at moment, but Goggle should find them.

I believe Ian keeps records of past supply to other customers - make / model of saw and blade types / lengths supplied. Sure he could sort you out with good advice. And the blades he supplies are great quality.

Well this is what the manufacturer says.

I’m aware of two variants / old / new model of the saw which I believe take different blade lengths.

With the blade removed take off all tension, run a string around and measure the length. That’s a good starter for the blade length.

If you can easily measure the distance between the wheels (450mm Dia) then the blade length will be 1414mm + twice that.

ie. assume that there is 700mm between the wheel centres then the blade length will be 2814mm. (700 * 2 + 1414)
