Hello folks, I have a query regarding my Scheppach ts 2500 Ci table saw. For a couple of weeks now I have been having intermittent problems with the start-up. I can be using the machine for 20 minutes or so and, when I return to the machine it will not start up. I have checked the supply cables (I have even had an electrician check them for me) and the power is getting to the switch ok. I have taken the switch apart and there are no loose connections anywhere ( the electrician checked this too) I put the switch back together and often the machine will start up straightaway. Over the past couple of weeks I have done this on probably 7 or 8 occasions and it has started up ok. I have probably had a similar number of occasions where it has refused to start and, that is the case this afternoon.
I have spoken to the techie boys that deal with the machine but they haven't come up with an answer. I don't think that it is the capacitor as the techies say that it would make a whirring sound without kicking in if it was at fault. I don't want to purchase any parts just yet as I don't know exactly what the problem is.
I am wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar problem and have managed to resolve it.
Thanks in advance of any thoughts.
