Scheppach HMS2600ci P/T

Does anyone have this machine? How do you rate it?

I don't have one myself as I'm a wood turner. I have been selling machinery for several years and IMO the HMS2600 is one of the best P/T's available. It is well made and easy to use and set up. There are others that look similar now that Scheppach have changed the shape of the machine on the latest up grade. My advice would be to get to a show or a stockist that is willing to demonstrate one and judge for yourself. They are one of the most expensive 10" planers but IMO one of the best as well.

I've got that exact model. I'm extrmely happy with it. The finish of the planer is superb, and it has bags of power. The only disadvantage is that the planer beds are not partiularly long, but then you have to pay more $$$ for that. I have mine on a roller base so I can move it, then kick the wheel cams away so it is solidly on the floor when I use it. Its done me proud on al the projects I've used it on so far, its never been the limiting factor.
