I've got one!!

It does what it says on the tin but I would struggle to recommend it to anyone else.

The biggest let-down is the table adjustment; crude and very hit and miss. I would have expected better from something of this price.

Unfortunately it's the only bandsaw I have experience of so can't recommend any others. I would have thought there would be something better in the Axminster range for a similar price??

I have a Basto 3 and very pleased with it. It has, I think, a similar table adjustment which I very rarely use but when I do I do not find it problem. If you are going to buy a bandsaw I would reccommend Steve Maskery's DVDs 4 & 5. A wealth of information about setting them up.

I don't see the newer Startrite stuff getting much recomendation/traction. Is there a reason for this or am I imagining it?
