Scheppach bandsaw problem

Hi everybody please can you help? I have a Sheppach Basato 3 bandsaw that won't work. When I switch it on the motor won't spin and a buzzing comes from it. The motor and the blade are freely moving so there is no jam I have removed the motor, taken it apart and cleaned it inside. There was no obvious damage but when I reassembled it, it is exactly the same. Don't know what to do now. A new prof is going to be expensive I think. Is there anything else it could be?

It may be the starting capacitor that has failed. A quick cheap job.

The capacitor went on mine 2 or 3 years ago. I got a replacement from the distributors / agents, NMA.

You can buy a cap for just a few pounds from Maplins or RS. Just make sure you buy one of the same spec.

Hi got one the start button willl not hold in has it got a centrifugal switch in motor? To provide voltage back to the switch to energise in Frarundcwhkll you hold in the switch
