If anyone is interested, I've received the fine saw set from Tools for Working Wood and though I haven't used it, the plunger seems narrow enough to handle 20 TPI (the box says it will cope with 26!). Apparently the anvil is the same as that fitted to the coarse set because it isn't economically viable for the factory to make two different ones, so it is marked from 5-12.

Incidentally, the Tools for Working Wood catalogue is fantastic! Rather than reprinting the manufacturers' blurb for each tool there is a sort of mini review presumably written by the company owner. I must have spent a good hour studying the contents...

That's a Somax saw set. I once measured the width of the plunger at 1.5 mm and I'm fairly certain it is fine enough for 20 TPI although the maximum I've used it on is 16 TPI. I'm not sure about the one with the built in magnifier. I'd be surprised if the lens was good enough to be of real benefit on the finer teeth. I think on the finer teeth you really do need to use some type of marking blue or candle soot.
I opted for the Somax without the magnifier and purchased an illuminated bench mount from Maplin, good price. Very good large glass lens but the arm mechanism could be a bit more positive. At the price one shouldn't complain.
