Today I built my kids a sandpit 1.8x1.8m the problem is i can't find a cover suitable. Needs to be slightly bigger ie. 2m sqaure and have holes to thread and elastic through.
Thanks

Can't help, but I wished there was a company that made this sort of stuff to size/order. I have been trying to find covers for outside furniture and everything is either too big or too small or the wrong shape. Maybe you could use some tarpaulin and some how make your own rings?

Christoph,
Can't you build a top - I made a top for my bought sandpit - it came with a fitted plastic cover but it was next to useless?
Cheers
Gidon

I built a cover for our bought sand-pit using bits and pieces I had kicking around - some thin ply, a frame of 2x1 and covered in some left over roofing felt. Still doing its job after 4 years.

How about using a patio furniture cover like this?

http://www.garden4less.co.uk/proddetail.asp?prod=P020

This one comes with a short pole that is meant to sit on the table. You'd have to replace it with a full height pole.

It has 8 brass eyelets and 4 tie downs.

I've got one covering my patio table and chairs and it has been invaluable this year

Regards
