Sanding intarsia

Hello, I am trying my first intarsia project. My book is in the shed so forget what it is called but the first project is a goldfish which I am making from pine. The American lady in the book sands with a mop sander. I am curious what this is called in the UK as I can't seem to find it. Then in general how do tend to sand down your projects?

Hello stooby, i purchased my sanding mop on ebay, it simply fits into my drill and works fine
