Sander buying advice.

Hello,

I would like to buy an electric handheld corded sander to be used for general DIY projects , i have had a look at Bosch , Dewalt and Makita but unsure of the best option for my money. My budget is £100 and under , any help would be appreciated.

Don't buy a black and decker mouse. I've burnt 4 of them out with light DIY use

you dont mention if you want rotary or belt or vibrating or a finger sander or what...

my sanding selection is -

b&d power file
mirka ROS (but thats air)
clarke belt sander (which is brutal, and has taken a lot of work)

also a linisher and a drum sander, but i know thats not what you are asking

DeWalt Random Orbital Sander, reasonable cost and does a good job.

Recycled scraper blades. Far superior finish and zero cost to the planet.
