I've got the wonder fence and my only complaint with it is that it makes the carriage alot heavier to move when using the templates. The dust extraction is pretty good though.

Just have to wait on my Wonderfence coming now :D
RESIST RESIST RESIST ......... Nope ... still not working !!!!

I have the Incra Intellifence I attach it to my Incra Jig for use on my Router table, it has the split fence , it is fantastic, The twin Linear does the same, Rutlands price is a hell of a lot less than what I paid for my setup about 3 years ago, Reckon it is one hell of a bargain for such an accurate piece of Kit

Being American does this Incra stuff have inch scales only?

I think of big things like a fence panel in feet but anything precise I need millimeters.

The original Incra kit used teeth made from a precision plastic moulding. Tooth spacing was 1/32" IIRC. The Twin Linear is such a beast. These CAN be replaced by green metric mouldings.

Later models ..from the LS family ...use a LeadScrew and can;t be converted AFAIK.

I agree - the Twin linear is a magnificent piece of kit. See here

What with the link BH gave us to the Bessey deal at Axminster and now Roger pointing us in the direction of this excellent deal at Rutlands for the Twin Linear (which i snapped up) it has been my lucky week.

Very much appreciated Roger =D> =D>

Now I wonder if you can help me further. Can the Right Angle Fixture that comes with the Incra LS Super System fit on the Twin Linear?
I have an extra Shop Stop can that be fitted to it or does it come with something like it?
I noticed that you mentioned about getting the Wonderfence, is there much difference between it and the fence that you get with the Twin Linear?

Thanks again for the link.

Cheers

The Right Angle Fixture comes with the Twin Linear!

Yes..it fits. You also get a stop that fits onto the thin extension piece that you can see on the lefthand fence

I noticed that you mentioned about getting the Wonderfence, is there much difference between it and the fence that you get with the Twin Linear?

Not much as far as I can see. Obviously you don't get the gubbins at the back for forward/backward movement.

Are you going to get metric scales?

Glad you could take advantage of the price!

Sorry Roger I have not seen one in action before and so I am not sure what you mean by the forward/backward movement

Roger,

Are you going to get metric scales?

I don't think so I can work with either one so it does not bother me.

The Twin Linear is best considered in two parts. There is the actual fence (which is split and gives you separate adjustment of the infeed and outfeed fence towards and away from you (ideal for planing the edges on thin material) and also sideways to accomodate large cutters etc.

Then there is the rack assembly on which the fence is mounted. With the twin Linear you have TWO separate moveable units...one moves the outfeed fence towards/away from you andf the other does the infeed fence. OR you can lock the two together and move the fence backwards/forwards as a unit.

I'll pm you my mobile

Cheers

Roger
