Rutlands fast delivery

I ordered a 64 piece set of the Tornado router cutters on special from Rutlands yesterday afternoon, along with the Bessey copy clamps and was still waiting for the email to confirm the order was processed when the knock on the door was made! fastest order to delivery I've ever had :shock: !!!!

Hope the items are as good as the service?

Thats great service.
I have ordered a replacement mitre fence and dust extractor adaptor from them, but both are showing as out of stock.
I did wonder if they were reducing their stock holding to reduce costs and only ordering stock when they have an order to back it up.
Looks as this is not the case and I am just unlucky, although the super quick response to your order could suggest they do not have a lot to do at the moment?

Thats exactly the thought that went through my head on Monday. I placed an order with Axminster & in less than an hour had a message to say it had been dispatched.

I have always found both Rutland and Axminster to be very quick.

Although, I now have an Axminster in High Wycombe so I don't have to wait. It just costs me more as I cannot resist browsing then buying that little thing that I didn't realise I needed until I saw it.

An update;
I received a letter (snail mail) yesterday from Rutlands to tell me the parts I had ordered were expected to be delivered to them on the 4th April and would be despatched to me shortly after then.

I wait in hope.

My experiences with Rutlands have always been mixed. Sometimes they are excellent, sometimes down right rude. I think, generally, their prices are too high and their Dakota products too poor for me to use them for anything but essentials.
