Would you care to give me the page number please?

HI Olly

You're right, it doesn't appear to be in their catalogue. It must have been in one of their flyers. I'm sure if you rang them up they would oblige.

Thanks for sharing your setup Neil, I really like the idea.

My only concern is that the guard doesn't appear to be adjustable for height, although that would probably interfere with air flow to the hose?

Thinking of the spindle moulders I've seen with a Ring Fence setup for Shaping work, I think we again arise at the same problem - no extraction port. I could be wrong, of course. But with all the H&S legislation floating around, you'd think someone official probably would've come up with a good idea by now?

Hi Olly,

It has three positions for height - there are two small wood blocks (in this picture there is one below & one above the guard) which you can move around to change the height. The lowest height is dictated by the size of the extraction pipe, though.

Cheers,
Neil

At the moment, it's a question of laminating enough MDF together to get the required thickness for the template cutter bush to run on something without the cutter going too deep, or finding a stubby template cutting bit I guess.

Oh I bet it will, cutting the slot of the track wasn't too bad, but this, hmm

Why not make your template opening = dimension you want plus the diameter of the router base and use the base as your guide. even if the cutter is not dead on central to the base the opening will be the right size.
