Finally sorted out the problem with the canopy. Next door neighbor helped deliver it in his big four wheel trailer, after taking it apart again.

Leveled and rebuilt in position

Complete with canopy :roll: at last. Waiting for customer to come back off a weeks holiday as it is a surprise for his wife. Missed their wedding anniversary due to canopy problems.

very clever design Les and that view would have you using it all the time!
 
Thanks for all your replys it is a shame that I can not video it working so that you can understand the principle of the rolling bit.

Les,
is that canopy easily removable? In that exposed position I would expect it to show some wear and tear if left up all winter.

There are eyelets 5 each side and 3 each end. Just used a penny washer and stainless steel screw to fix. Undo the screws and canopy just peels of and can be rolled up.
