Oh laminating guru's out there.
I am working on my utility room. The wife wants cherry units and cherry shaker style doors. I decided to reuse some cabinets and make the doors myself. The cupboards unfortunately are Golden Maple rather than Cherry. What I plan to do is put a cherry veneer over the top. Can anyone see a problem with this approach, only on the visible parts, not everywhere.
Also would I need to prepare the surface in any way for the contact adhesive ?
