Retirement gift

Made this at the weekend for a lady who's retiring from work. She's dropped a few hints in the past that she likes robins so who am I to argue? A very stressful make as I was worried the entire time that the thin layer would snap (it's about 3mm) but I'm actually very pleased with my straights and curves alike.

I made the pattern myself Peter, the only "cheat" was that I googled for a silhouette of a robin which I duplicated, resized, rotated slightly and added the feet on (which you can barely see but I know they are there )

For the font I used ChunkFive at http://online.rapidresizer.com/make-name-patterns.php and tweaked the "letter overlap" in the options.
