really just a gloat on my new purchase, but serious question as well. How does one remove the grease from a tool thats covered in it?
Got thisin the post this morning.
Now how the heck does one remove all of that muck without getting it everywhere? soak it in white spirit?
I cant imagine that this has ever been used. I'll check the blade when I get all of the gip off. Initial view of thissite reckons the boxes were made by C & J Hampton till 1972 and this has a c & J hampton leaflet in the box so might be earlier than 1972. Anyway I'll clean it off and have a better look.
