Can I just remind you that cement/concrete rots copper tubing?
Make sure that all the copper laid in cement is plastic covered or plastic taped.

Hi Rodders,

Yes I agree I was assuming the copper pipe already encased has protection already applied.
 
It doesn't :)
but the floor isn't really concrete ( or not as I know it ) It is very crumbly and comes up easily, rather like old tarmac.
But for now I have decided to try removing some of the concrete beside the bar and see if I can force it out.
