Yes please to items 1, 4 and 8 (the levels, the router set and the feelers guages) I'll need them posted, so please advise cost and I'll sort payment.

Hi Pozidrive, the weight of the levels and feeler gauges won’t changed the postage cost so there won’t be extra for postage, so they’re yours. PM me you’re details and we’ll go from there :D

Ibbotson Chisel arrived safely. Very impressed with your packaging efforts!
Greaseproof paper&masking tape -> jiffy bags -> packed postal tube -> duct taped up. Easily survived the MyHermes test.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm always worried about how some couriers treat parcels (bad experiences!) so I do my best to ensure it's 'throw-proof'.

By the way it's not greasproof paper, its Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) paper as I also know things occasionally get left in the rain (again, bad experience!)

That makes sense, I recognised it as similar to the paper I have my sets of chuck jaws wrapped in but didn’t know the name for. I realised it was more likely to be ‘grease impregnated’ rather than ‘grease proof’. Now I know the term I’ll order some as it is quite useful for wrapping things for long-term storage.

As it happens i bought a 100m roll of the stuff (better value than small pre-cur pieces on ebay) as i wanted to line my tool boxes and drawers. So i may offer some of it for sale as i dont think i’d ever go through 100m! Haha. So maybe keep an eye and if i get myself organised i may offer some for sale per metre. Very useful stuff though, has been prticulalry useful for the stuff i’ve sold on here

Hi "Mr. Sawdust".

Just to confirm the 1 to 2 inch mic + combi square both arrived safely in Switzerland today (these refer to your original for Sale post of course).

Just to add to a comment somewhere above, the packaging of mine was also excellent - absolutely bomb-proof.

Thanks a lot

Thanks to all that have confirmed safe receipt of their items :D

Remaining items still available:

Can obviously combine postage on multiple items.

(Note that I am still trying to find a decent source of VCI paper that I trust, so keep an eye out in the ‘off topic’ sub-forum for a post to drum up interest to club together for a large roll)

Just a quick note to confirm safe receipt of items...and to repeat the praise of Mr Sawdust for his packaging skills - a courier armed with a sledgehammer (that would be your average courier then) would have been hard pushed to inflict any damage on the package or its contents!

Many thanks

Pozidrive
