Recycled fence post off-cut Christmas decorations

Thought I would get some spindle Gouge practice on some 4” square fence post offcuts
the finished trees measure 12” tall
tools Used were roughing gouge, spindle gouge and parting tool

Very nice, I’ve always turned short stumpy ones, but those tall ones look super.

Thanks for the nice comments gents
i also made short stubby ones last year for the mantle
these are to go either side of the fireplace so needed more “presence”
I have left them untreated as the smell of the pine sap is nice
