Hi All,
I recently purchased another old Record Vice (Number 25) and am looking to try and work out roughly when it was produced. From my research i believe that its definitely from pre 1960 from the shape of the lead screw.
Here are the pictures i have taken,
The info important info i have gathered (at least i think) is such; The bracket for the quick release has square headed screws. There is a '0'(zero) stamped onto the bottom which can be seen in the first picture. It has a 'meatball' shaped end to the lead screw. The end of the lever has a spannable ring that i assume was from manufacturing to allow them to slide it through the lead screw.
Other than this i am in the dark as for when this could have been produced.
If anyone has any information that would be great!
Thanks
Matt
