Have been looking for information on the web about the older Record planes, something along the lines of Patrick's Blood & Gore. So far have not been able to find much info. Would appreciate any links etc.

Cheers :D

Ah well, unless someone's been holding out on me there really isn't anything of that ilk online. John Horobin comes closest - potentially anyway. Our own BugBear does his bit for the Record-only models here. I'm slowly chipping away at the ploughs and combis here. And finally a brief history here.

Off-line the closest you can get is the reprint of Catalogue No.15 with foreword by Leslie Harrison, or editions various of "Planecraft".

Unfortunately for a "B&G" it needs is someone with no life, inordinate amounts of time, a full range of Record literature and copious web space. Even I don't tick enough of those boxes.

Cheers, Alf

Thanks for the links Alf - thought to myself if Alf doesn't know no one will :D

Cheers :D
