If you haven't already discovered it your BS300E will benefit greatly from being setup the Snodgrass way, ignore the Alan Holtham DVD (no offence to Alan intended) that probably came with it.
A new blade from TuffSaws will also work wonders, the Record blades supplied are rubbish.
