Re SLEEVE FOR DELTA BOBBIN SANDER CAN ANYONE HELP

What size are they? I have the SIP draper record clone which might fit. Failing that I know a guy who has one so I can ask him where he gets his, failing that, eBay.com.
Thanks for your reply but unfortunately none of the uk sleeve will fit, there is a discrepensy between imperial and metric and that is why. I would very much appreciate if your friend knows where I may be able to get them. 4.1/2" long in any diamiter would do. Many thanks once again, I am a new member and have just come accross the site, it is nice to have somewhere you can ask for help, I am a very keen woodworker

I remember seeing that CSM Abrasives still list the Delta bobbin sander (along with several of their other tools) on their site, despite the fact that Delta kit was discontinued over here a few years ago... Might be worth giving them a call to confirm availability.
More sleeves here, as well. 51mm is equal to 2in, while 76mm is 3in. Standard metric sizes would usually be 50mm and 75mm respectively.
Failing that, I'm sure Axminster can still offer imperial sleeves as their own Jet machine was definitely imperial at some point, even if it isn't today.

I have on my shelf a brand new sanding spindle set for a Delta bobbin sander. It contains 1", 1.1/2", 2" and 3" rubber spindles and 4 120grit sleeves, 2 drum plates and 4 table inserts. I know its not what you asked for but you can have it for £20.00 inc delivery (thats half price and free carriage)
