well if it's anything like their palm sander
it should be pretty good.

personally i use a bosch 150 which seems pretty good too.

Thanks Paul. Bosch looks nice but a bit much for the use I'm likely to give it. I'm looking for something to finish Oak furniture. A good finish is more important to me than aggressive action.

well' i'm sure that someone will come along and try to push you down
the slippery slope to using a hand plane to smooth it, particularly oak.

as i said the palm sander is good so you never know with the ros.

Wizer, Homesbase are selling Sanders for £8.and that is with 15 pieces of sandpaper :shock: My mate has just bought one, I'll let you know if they are any good. For £8 though it's worth a punt
