both these vehicles have a chassis, so messing about with what's on top is fairly acceptable and the test is a bit more straight forward.
the t25 isn't. which means it falls under the monocoque rules and it makes it a bit harder.

heres the IVA inspection manual

section 6 is doors and latches. nothing about what they are made from, lots about doors that open backwards.
there are a few places you can ask who actually now the answer. have a google, the only one I can remember is long gone. maybe go and ask on Retro rides, they do some odd stuff on that there forum. :)

going pastthe wooden door camper today so will get a piccy and put up later

Maybe the real question isn't about the construction of the doors, especially if the law is silent about choice of material. But when your friend next buys insurance they'll be asked (or obliged to say) whether any modifications have been made. Will the insurers say "diy wooden doors are no problem" or up the premium or refuse cover?
Perhaps worth a general enquiry now?

Thanks for posting that Droogs, very interesting gives the impression of a couple of hippies letting life drift by, possibly something many of us would like to do. =D>
Wonder if he's declared it to the insurance company though, looks as if it's been knocked up out of pallet wood.
