Pro Edge belts Update

Had a leaflet from Sorby

They are now doing finer grade belts

A30 600 grit
A16 1200 grit
A6 3000 grit

So a finer finish for all :mrgreen:

And they are now doing a knife sharpening jig :wink:

So pleased I sold my Tormek and used the money to get the proedge, I’ve used the 600 grit belt on my carving tools very nice with I bought the other 2 belt’s as well but thought the 600 grit would be fine, will get them both again.

I’ve seen the knife sharpening jig in action very impressive the jig supplies a new backing plate platform bar and one knife holder apparently you can get the knife edge down to 2 microns nice and sharp.

I have been using these new belts, and the fine one puts a lovely edge on my tools, without running hot or loosing a lot of steel. Very pleasing addition to a sharpener I'm very pleased with.
