I'm after some prescription glasses. Not the sort with the metal frames and plastic side protectors but a more wrap around style. Any suggestions as to where I can get some?

I got mine from specsavers, they were about £80.

They're plastic and kind of wrap around style.

They're not the most fashionable glasses in the world but they do keep my eyes safe.

I also have wraparound safety specs.... Be aware that they distort the peripheral vision a little. It's a bit disorientating at first but you soon get used to it.

Make sure the impact grade of the lens is at least "f" the ones sold routinely by spec save are lower grade.

DiscoStu did you ever get these in the end? How easy was it to deal with SafetySpecs? I'm due an eye test soon so am looking into this again.

I have some uvex googles which I can use with my glasses but they fog up and I'd rather just have a pair on all the time. Must get round to buying some.
