Prescription Drugs - always read the leaflet

We all take 'em sometime, but how many of us read the bit about 'do not take....'
I just did, just after I was released from hospital.
I was prescribed for a minor bowel complaint on Friday and on Saturday attended a wedding, just as the ceremony ended I went out like a light. Luckily a nurse was in attendance and got me into hospital, she thought that I'd had a stroke, actually under the warning notice is a comment about affecting the heart rate, mine slowed right down and I passed out.
The hospital said that I would feel like **** for 48hrs.
They got that bit right.
I shall take more notice in future!

I was alright, I was out of it!
Frightened the Hell out of my wife and the guests, happily they were quickly informed that I hadn't had a stroke and were able to carry on with the celebrations.

Glad to hear also that it was not serious, but a wedding at our ages can be a bit nerve wracking I imagine. Was it the wedding night thoughts do you think? :wink:

Glad to hear you are ok, scary stuff

I once got a prescrition for my dog from the vet, which I had to take to the chemist. When I read the small print it said he should not drive or operate heavy machinery while taking them

Are you suggesting that a sudden rush of blood from the head caused the issue?

I quite agree Mark, there are far too many unlicensed drivers on the road!

I read through the list this morning, and fainting affects less than one in a 100, trust me!
