Darby & Jones. artists who made these but one works in clay with the animals and the other makes the contraptions they sit on out of junk. They have puns as names but I can't remember them. We own the hamster one, it's called Guinea Pug Test Pilot

Two pottery items we have in the hoose made by Billy Adams, currently working in Cenarth, West Wales and teaching at Cardiff, last I heard.

When I first saw these things I was fascinated but unable to grasp their meanings. Were they somehow gynaecological? Objects encountered in a weird dream? Having met the fellah when buying them it turns out that the gyno-thing was in fact inspired by Billy's youthful exploits in the realms of Rockabilly, a now ancient variety of pop music involving haircuts with a large frontal quiff.

It all goes to show - the meaning of such objects is in the mind of the beholder as much as in the mind of the creator. :)
