The Wood Stands work really nice and enhances the look ,acrylic just would not have the same effect imho

Dont know the reason but a wood handle always looks better than plastic.Nothing complicated, but while some epoxied cracks were curing on a couple of slabs i decided to give my drill press a little upgrade.
