Possible stupid question????

Hello people in the know.....I'm new to forum stuff so be kind if i get this wrong... I have a £75 Mac Allister router & was wondering which router table to buy as MAC don't appear to make their own. Are all router fitments the same?

you buy a router plate and drill it to suit the router that you have. these plates often come with the table.

there are a few exceptions, for instance I have an old elf table which works differently, but that is the case for most. http://www.rutlands.co.uk/sp+woodworkin ... ds+rtx2000 is an example.

http://www.rutlands.co.uk/sp+woodworkin ... ds+rtx5001 shows the plate. you generally use the base of your router as a template.
