UJK or Dakota or Kreg or Trend?

I want the best value.

UJK and Trend seems same price
KREg a bit more - willing to pay if its better
Dakota - cheap but I like a bargain

I'm not going to be doing industrial amounts of work with it but I like a decent item and a bargain (cake and eating it)

I have the kreg version which I've found very good, using it for thousands of pockets. It has a dust extraction port, i'm not sure if the your other options have that? You make a fair bit of dust using it so I think extraction is a must. But I use trend screws from Swansea marine and ply.

I bought the Kreg K5 and am very pleased with it, I have used it to make mobile bases for all my workshop kit.

I would use it when required, but since having bought a Domino will use that for most woodworking joints.

I've always used a Kreg one but recently bought the ujk set and it's very well made , I highly recommend it

Think I'm leaning towards a UJK as you can get it and all the extras and a pack of 1000 screws for just under £100.

UJK is a nice bit of kit, but one thing to consider is that Kreg also do a Micro Jig to go with their system. It's another £35 but I've found it useful for thinner material like 1/2" ply. It gives you a smaller bore hole, and using the cap head screws means they'll still be more or less flush with the surface.

Hope that helps.
