any ideas on the best p/t to buy, sceppach look pretty good but are expensive compared to some others ex ,record sip :?

I've owned a smalll Elu, DeWalt, 12" Eleektra Bekum, Sedgwick MB and currently run a 12" Startrite. At work I have used a Kity and presently use a Rojek. Only machine I have not warmed to was the Sedgwick, why I cannot put my finger on.
Regarding the Scheppach, some years ago whilst camping in France I met a tool and machinery shop owner from Ireland, his advice was if you wanted something decent and were buying new you would not be disappointed with Scheppach. He thought very highly of the make.

I'd also recommend a Scheppach, I have the HMS260 and my experience so far is it's a capable machine. The HMS260 and 2600 frequently turn up for sale here and on eBay - expect to pay 1/3 to 1/2 the retail cost of a new machine. There's not a lot to go wrong and parts are readily available from NMA - my one is second hand and I'm very happy with my machine and the extra cash in the bank!

As a great beliver in " older is better" I got a Wadkin from ebay, fraction of the cost of a new tin and plastic one and my god its amazing ! :ho2
