As per my thread on the other forum, I'm having a few days break here early next month. Got 4 days. Any recommendations of what to see and do?

Thanks

Mark

If you like fish, try the Union Oyster Housewhich is the oldest restaurant in continuous use in the USA. I had the best piece of haddock I've ever had there for about £12. It was over an inch thick and hanging off both ends of the plate.

The Freedom Trail is quite interesting, and you can do as much or as little as you like as it's self guided.

Hi There

I go to Boston approx 4 times a year for work and have done for 20 years or so. Things to do are in no particular order

Walk on Boston Common
Freedom Trail
Aquarium
Duck tour (WW2 amphibious vehicle) from Prudential building
Faneil Hall Quincy Market food court and fun shops
Sell your wife and kids and get ticket's for the Red Sox (kidding really it is impossible to get tickets)
After a good meal, miss out the desserts course, walk to the Italian quarter and find a bar serving drinks coffee and desserts
Eat in China Town - really good food here.
Union Oyster bar is superb but can be hard to get a space at the weekend.
Visit Rockler tool shop in Cambridge
Museum of Science is world class
Visit Concord and get a bit of American flavour history - should be flavor really :D

I'd miss out the Tea Party as have not heard good things about it but I have not been.

Hope this gets you started.
