Hi folks
I wondered if anyone had tried one of these pinless induction type moisture meters at all?. There are some on ebay for the princely sum of £25 and I wondered how deep they could measure, how accurate etc they were. I have been recommended the pin type one sold by Axminster which I`m considering. Its use would be solely for seeing if timber is ok for turning. I`m not sure how a plastic cased meter would stand up to the pins being forced into wood by heavy handed fingers (ie mine) hence the interest in the pinless type.
Cheers
