Hi Digazz, - Great to see another ireland based Turner on here !

I would check your browser is loading images for a start. What browser are you using ?

i'm using internet explorer 6. Sometimes pictures show but 90% don't.
I'm from Kildare, but living in Limerick. Been dabbling a liitle bit on the lathe this last 2 years, but only new to this forum.

Hmm - Maybe if you blow your cache and retry

Tools/Internet Options/Delete files ( selcet delete all offline contemt. )

Not this will remove your cookies ( things that hold usernames/personal settings for certian sites etc. )

In any case i would install either Firefox or IE7

I've deleted the cache, but still the same. It would be nice to see/comment on other peoples work, but looks like i'll be keeping stum until this is sorted out

Weird,

Can you reference which threads seem to work and which don't - trher might be subtle differences? - it might be the hosting server being blocked ? or something like that ?

The piccys i can't see are Blisters.
Rknotts workshop.In projects.
The second link in Beejays reply on finishing.
Plus other links and piccys elsewhere.

In "Internet Options" - "Advanced" - "Multimedia," see if "Show image download placeholders" is ticked and - if it is - untick it.

Make sure that the "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed" option in the "Security" section is ticked.

Have a look in "Content" and see if the "User Generated Content" is allowed or not, or add the forum to the "Approved Sites" tab.

You can also add the forum to the "Approved Sites" in the "Privacy" section and the "Trusted Sites" in the "Security" section.

That's all I can think of that might affect your browser from the info given. :)

Ray.

Hiya Digazz, good to have another Kildare man aboard .I know nothing about Pictures. I know nothing about lots of things, but I do know you will be well looked after on this forum. all the Info you need Good luck. Boysie.

Paul, one thing I notice is that all the references you are having trouble with are pictures/forms in "Landscape" format, 640 pixels or wider.

I the problem something to do with the size of your viewing window not being able to accommodate them. (and viewing window not providing scroll bars)

Can you try setting your monitor to a higher resolution to see if there is a difference.

Something to do with source of photob pictures/your ISP connection I think Paul, those are the same picture from Rknotts PB account on my server.

digazz can you see those? , I'm surprised MS update has not changed IE to ver. 7 by now.

I can see other PB piccys that other members put on :?
But remember you could see the problem pics when you were physically connected to my ISP/network.
